TRANSCRIPT:

Good afternoon, Bulldog Families. This morning at approximately 8:30 a.m., we were made aware of a threat at Poland Seminary High School. The threat came in the form of an email. And Principal Snyder and the entire staff acted very quickly and very efficiently. All students were relocated to the Poland football stadium, which was our best option to relocate 824 students.

During that evacuation and relocation, we waited until we received an all clear indicating that our building was safe. After a thorough check of our entire facility, we did receive that all call and all clear from the Poland Township Police Department at approximately 11:16 a.m.. At that time, our students were able to safely return to Poland Seminary. Although this was a major disruption, I could not be more prouder of the students, our staff and everybody that was involved and the way they handled themselves today.

Threats against schools are very serious crimes. They're also very complicated and they cause a lot of confusion. So we so appreciate everyone for their patience and their understanding as we learn and grow from each one of these.

Again, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the Poland teachers. Our principal. Principal Snyder. Assistant Principal. Mr. Daley. Mr. Ashcroft, our athletic director, all of our administrators that were on hand to help out the Poland township police and all the people that were there to make sure our students and staff were safe. Safety of our children is our top priority. It will be today. Tomorrow and every day. Thank you all. We'll continue to communicate as we move through this event. Thank you.
