The Bulldogs take on the Girard Indians on Friday, 11/14 in the OHSAA Football Playoffs, @ Arrowhead Stadium in Girard. Tickets can be purchased online at ohsaa.org/tickets or at the door. PARKING: A $5 parking fee will be collected at all stadium lots.

Poland Local School District conducted a full-scale safety drill on November 6, 2025 at Poland Seminary High School, in collaboration with Poland Township Police Department, Western Reserve Fire and Rescue, and federal agencies. The district appreciates its partners for their continued collaboration and thanks PSHS administrators Mr. Kevin Snyder, Mr. Mike Daley, Mr. Doug McGlynn, and Mr. Brian Banfield, for their commitment to the safety of our schools.

Poland Seminary High School will be hosting the annual Veterans' Day Assembly tomorrow, November 11, 2025 at 9 a.m. in the PSHS Auditorium. The building will run on an adjusted schedule. Students who have late arrival or early release should review the time adjustments for the periods. Thank you to all Veterans for their service.

We are excited to announce our annual districtwide food drive, sponsored by Poland Middle School's PANDA Club and the Student Councils from both Poland Junior and Senior High Schools. All food donations will stay within the community to assist families in need. The food drive will run from November 3 through November 14. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference, and together, we can have a lasting impact on those in need.

What are your sources of strength? That was the question at hand for a select group of Poland Bulldog Junior High students. Meet the PSHS Junior Leadership team. Consisting of Poland Seminary Junior High leaders in seventh and eighth grade, the group took part in a day-long session with our friends from the Mahoning County Juvenile Court.

Congratulations to the PSHS student athletes on their achievement this year in the NE8 Athletic Conference. In the Fall 2025 season, 40 Bulldogs were recognized by coaches and administrators. In nine sports, the NE8 has named three Poland Bulldogs as NE8 Players of the Year:

• Lucas Knez, Senior, Boys Cross Country
• Angelo Rinaldi, Junior, Boys Golf
• Skevos Tsikouris, Senior, Boys Soccer

Thank you to the Spanish Club at Poland Seminary for hosting such an outstanding event of creativity and community! Our Bulldogs creatively decorated their trunks and invited kiddos in Poland to dress up and enjoy treats, hot chocolate, and face painting. Pirate ships, Minecraft, racecars... Some kiddos fit right in with some of the themes in their costumes!

PSHS Athletics is proud to announce that the Poland Bulldogs have earned the #3 seed in Division IV, Region 17 of the OHSAA State Football Playoffs. With that ranking, the Bulldogs have received a first-round bye and will open postseason play at home on Friday, November 7 at 7 p.m. Poland will host the winner of the #6 Youngstown Liberty vs. #11 Claymont matchup in the second round. Poland Seminary Junior/Senior High School Spanish students are teaming up again to decorate their trunks and pass out candy! Come dressed in your costumes and trunk-or-treat with us! The event will be held Tuesday, October 28 from 5-7 p.m. in the PSHS Stadium Parking Lot for Poland community children up to 7th grade.

Cam, the Scarecrow with a Clarinet, is mic'd up in the PSHS Marching Band for Band Halloween night!

Congratulations to ten Poland Seminary High School and Junior High School students on their selection to the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) District 5 Honors Choir! These Bulldogs are among the top-performing vocalists in the area. Together, they prepared a lively and challenging repertoire in a short time for their performance on Saturday, October 25, at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown, Ohio.

Art decorates the halls at Poland Local Schools! Enjoy the creativity unleashed! Bulldogs have finally finished construction on their haunted houses, reached the other side of their split portraits, and scared us into Halloween with zombie portraits and sketches of what scares us! Also, check out the vivid painting happening in sixth grade!

Is your Junior High student looking for additional support in one or more subjects? The Poland Seminary High School Interact Club, an organization dedicated to student service and community involvement, is once again offering FREE tutoring sessions for 7th & 8th grade students! Students will be greeted with volunteer high school tutors willing to help your child. Tutoring sessions take place after school from 2:15–2:50 p.m. on Wednesdays (when school is in session) in Mr. Martin’s room #13. Sign up today:

Kennedy on the flagline is mic'd up in the PSHS Marching Band, moooving around to the beats on Senior night!

Over 30 members of the 8th Grade Band joined the PSHS Marching Band on Friday night for pregame, stands tunes, and the halftime show... Let's see the fun from THEIR perspectives, as Abby, Stone, and Sophia lock in, hit the right notes, and enjoy the fun of being in the Poland Bulldog Marching Band!

Mrs. McGee's Environmental Science class took a trip to Yellow Creek Park in Struthers to gain a sense of the living organisms that make up the stream. With the help of Mr. Felger from the Mahoning Soil and Water Conservation District, the Bulldogs performed an analysis of the water and learned of methods for obtaining samples and assessing the quality. Jon absolutely caught two crayfish and a colorful fish... Tucker might have caught a wet boot too (the one he was wearing...) Dogs loved jumping in the water!

SPIRIT WEEK! PSHS Cheer and friends have done it again! Seniors take us to senior land, Just Dance Juniors have the aux cord, Spooky Sophomores made haunted halls, Freezing Freshmen iced the lockers shut, and its a holiday hallway for junior high! AMAZING!

Class of 2026: The Senior Group Picture will be taken on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:15 a.m. in the Field House. Seniors will receive an envelope to order a copy if they would like one.

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the Poland Seminary Junior High Volleyball teams hosted the Northeast 8 (NE8) Championships at Poland Middle School. The tension and energy were palpable in the gymnasium, packed with families, parents, and students. A little more blue than usual filled the space... This week, the Poland Volleyball program had their moment... a night that showed what it means to be a Poland Bulldog.
