Mission Statement
The Poland Athletic Department is committed to cultivating well-rounded individuals who are equipped to positively contribute to both their community and society at large.
We recognize that a robust student activities program is integral to the educational journey of our students. With this in mind, our athletic program aims to nurture age-appropriate physical, social, and psychological development, while instilling values of competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
We prioritize the cultivation of self-confidence, self-discipline, and organizational skills, fostering a lifelong appreciation for physical fitness and overall well-being. Our program fosters a sense of school loyalty and pride among participants, encouraging respect for all involved and emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship and character both on and off the field. We operate within the framework of Board of Education policies and applicable laws, prioritizing educational values over solely competitive outcomes.
